Calumet's pool is managed and staffed by Nick Engel. Nick and his staff also
run the bath houses and the Half-Way House conveniently located adjacent to the
pool.
Nick and his staff are available to assist you Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Our certified life guard staff offers group swimming lessons, private swimming
lessons, pool parties, or private parties. The Calumet Pool is open for your
enjoyment Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30 am - 6:30 pm.
For a quick bite to eat pool side, check out the Half-Way House. Here you will
find a convenient place to have a cool refreshing drink or re-energize with a
snack or sandwich.

Pool Rules
Guests and Fees
Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times. Adult Children
and Grandchildren of members may come unaccompanied, notification must
be made prior to unaccompanied guests arrival. All members and guests
must register at the pool entrance each time they visit the pool. Guest
fees are $6.00 per person.
Children and Grandchildren of Members are entitled to use the pool
without charge if they are under 21 years of age and living in the
household or enrolled in school.
Member's children or grandchildren who are 21 years and older,
living in the household or enrolled in school and unmarried may come
unaccompanied and will pay the guest rate.
Babysitters who wear swimsuits are considered guests and are charged
guest fees. Babysitters who stay in street clothes are not considered
guests and are not charged a guest fee.
Children under the 12 must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
Towels
Members and guests will be furnished one (1) towel per day for which
they must sign.
Service
Only food and beverage served by the club will be permitted on club
property. Food may be eaten in the courtyard of the pool house at the
club. Food is not permitted in the swimming pool or adjacent to the
pool. No glass objects are allowed in the pool area.
The Guglielmucci room will be available for inside lunch service,
unless there is a function scheduled. Lunch reservations will be
necessary to ensure quality service. Cover-ups will be required but not
full dress.
Swim Rules
Dangerous play in or around the pool such as running on walks,
pushing, dunking, close diving, etc...is prohibited. Any accident or
injury, no matter how small, should be reported to the lifeguard on
duty.
No persons will be allowed in the pool unless a lifeguard is on
duty.
Permission must be obtained from the Pool Manager before floatation
toys are permitted in the large pool. Automobile inner tubes are not to
be used in the pool.
The Pool Manager and his staff will have complete authority to
enforce rules and to take whatever steps necessary to ensure the safety
of those at the pool.
Only acceptable swimming apparel may be worn in the pool (thong
bathing suits and cut-off jeans are not acceptable).
Children under three (3) years of age are not permitted in the main
pool area unless directly supervised by an adult. Children wearing
disposable diapers are permitted only in the wading pools provided they
are properly supervised. Children who still require diapers are
permitted in the main pool only if they are wearing approved "swimsuit
diapers". Lifeguards are not responsible for children in baby pool area.
When severe weather conditions exist, it may become necessary to evacuate
the pool and deck areas.
Pool Parties
The pool can be reserved for private parties. The pool may be reserved from 5:00
- 7:30 for parties. Parties must be booked 3 weeks prior to the event. All pool
parties will be booked through the Pool Manager and the Catering Director. Space
on the deck may be reserved for small parties.
For the Member Categories who have the option for the pool, sign up sheets
have been mailed to your homes. If you are planning to add the pool to your
membership, fill out and return the sign up sheet. You will not be able to go to
the pool until your sheet has been returned.
